I have to disagree with the whole texting thing, though. I’m a bit of an introvert or ‘reserved’ at first as my friends have described. But text-based relationships are for high school. A phone call and meetings in person are required (for me, anyway) to consider a relationship an actual relationship. Unless you’re 15.

I didn’t say they weren’t required. I was referring to the countless women out there who think men should jump through hoops and “act like a grown up” and call them to ask them out after one date. They’re usually the same women who insist on men being “totally honest” instead of fading, yet don’t practice what they preach by actually communicating to a man that they don’t like texting.
