Email good because you can multi task work while doing it. Instant messages good because you can multi task work while doing it. Phone calls good because you can say more in less time. Texting bad because it takes too long to say something simple.
If someone is always farting around on their blackberry I don’t think wow what an intelligent person! I think hrm someone has a lot of time to spare.

To all you you hating on DMN, note that he didn’t say he doesn’t go on dates with these gals. He’s just noticed a correlation. Compare that to the legions of women who judge and decline overtures from men based on grammar and spelling.
I dated a dyslexic women in dark ages before online dating. She’s one of 2-3 smartest women I’ve dated, but her spelling is awful. For this reason I never rule out at least a first date with someone based on grammar and spelling.
