Well to be honest I always thought a man wanted a potential partner to be a mommy figure, whether to him and/or his children/ future children. I was taught one way or the other it was expected, although I totally disagree, nor do I want to play a mommy role to any man. I still think it’s something that is required from us (women), and maybe will be one of those things I will have to be flexible about.
Men in the other hand I am not sure whether or not they do play a Daddy role in a romantic relationship. I am not sure if it’s something that it’s even thought about on their end as far as the role they play in a relationship. But, I could be soooooo wrong.

I agree with the majority of your post. Have to agree with your Fade comments, especially. It would be nice (or would it??) if everyone was honest about how they felt and that everyone could take that honesty in stride but that’s just not the case. Sometimes fading is for the best and, as you said, sometimes it’s not really a fade at all.
